WELCOME TO Nita M. Lowey 21st Century COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTERS MyTime after school enrichment PROGRAM.

(federal funded program)

The 21st Century MyTime program will not operate on half-days, non-attendance days, school holidays, and emergency school closing days. The program operates during the school year for a minimum of 28 weeks and summer programming is also provided through the 21st Century Grant. The program will provide daily snacks as well as materials for academic and enrichment activities.

PUBLIC NOTICE 

In partnership with West Aurora School District 129, the Fox Valley Park District has applied for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers federal grant for the upcoming school year. This grant application is due to the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) by April 25th, 2022. If awarded, this grant cycle is 3 years with annual approval by ISBE. This funding would support after-school and summer enrichment programs for eligible students from the following schools: Hall, Nicholson, Schneider, and Smith Elementary, as well as Jefferson Middle School.

WEST AURORA SCHOOL DISTRICT 129 HAS APPLIED FOR THE 21st CENTURY CONTINUATION GRANT FOR THE UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR.
THIS GRANT APPLICATION WAS SUBMITTED TO IBSE ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2021 AND IT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS: FREEMAN, GREENMAN, HILL, McCLEERY, AND HERGET.
